So, you like cute little Dogs? Then you might have heard of the famously Petite sized Dogs, Teacup Dogs. As the name suggests, these breeds are especially recognized for their undeniable cuteness and the petite size, these adorable pooches are estimated to be 1kg – 1.8kg full grown, and up to 18cm tall.  If you keep them in between a bunch of dog shaped toys, it will be difficult for you to detect the real one. They will fill your world with sweetness and happy moments, they will love you unconditionally and be your sweet little companion for many years to come. Smaller dogs do tend to live longer than larger breeds, and by giving the proper treatment, your teacup puppy can lead a long, fulfilling life!

3, How old can a teacup puppy travel by plane? Will it be safe?

We provide personalized travel schemes for each teacup puppy to ensure their safety and comfort during the flight before they travel to their new families. We work with pet friendly airlines that keep pets in climate-controlled environments throughout the entire trip. This means that we can deliver teacup puppies year-round without any temperature embargoes. Your puppy will be hand-delivered by our trusted pet exporter partners to the airport. They’ll be accompanied by their customised crate, bedding, blanket, food, water and a self-heating warm pad.

When teacup puppies reach 6 months old, is the ideal age for them to travel long distances to their new homes and start settling. Each one of our puppies are living animals, with feelings, a mind of their own and individual personalities. They have strong emotions just like we do, therefore, before departure we need to make sure each of our puppies is ready to fly long distances and is ready to start settling in their new homes.

 4 , Immunisation & deworm treatment information

 

Upon puppy’s arrival, they’re accompanied by their health certificate which includes a record of their vaccination, worming treatment and Import permit, also an ISO compliant microchip number, before it is adopted.  All health examinations meet requirements of Import Health standard Criteria of UAE.

 

 

5, What breeds can I choose from?

 

We offer Teacup Pomeranian, Poodle, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Maltipoo, Miniature French Bulldog, Miniature Pomsky. We bring in new puppies every week! We would love the opportunity to help you find the perfect teacup puppy for your family. If you are looking for a particular kind of puppy that is not listed in the ‘Our puppies’ section of our website, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

 

6, How do I know if my puppy is healthy?

All our puppies undergo pre-export/ laboratorial testing as specified in the import requirement of UAE  IHS (Import Health Standard: cats and dogs),  UAE Department of Agriculture, all puppies will comply with regulation requirement and upon puppy’s arrival, they are accompanied by a verified Health Certificate and Import Permit.

The health of your puppy is our number one priority. To ensure your puppy arrives home happy and healthy, we not only require comprehensive health evaluations for every puppy prior to travel, but also offer a Health Guarantee. For more information please read our Health Guarantee.

           Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Test (RNATT)

1.           Signed Official Veterinarian Declaration (OVD)

2.           Test results from a government approved laboratory for the rabies titre test (measures the level of rabies antibodies in the blood).

3.           Two most recent rabies vaccination certificates/records assure the level of rabies antibodies in the blood).

The Rabies Antibody Titer or FAVN-OIE Tests (FAVN stands for Fluorescent Antibody Viral Neutralization) is to ensure that the rabies vaccinations have provided adequate rabies antibody levels for travel.

7, Are they from puppy mills?

At TeddyPups Dubai, we are a family of dog lovers, committed to connecting responsible breeders of teacup puppies with caring individuals and families in the UAE. We hold ourselves and our clients to the highest standards and aim to improve the life of each puppy. We take a stand against puppy mills and have a zero tolerance policy for puppy mills or substandard breeding practices of any kind. 8, What Happens if I Purchase a Sick Puppy?

After bringing your puppy home, please make sure to have your new teacup puppy examined by a registered veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption.  If the puppy is found with any genetic or congenital illness, or primary heart, lung and kidney diseases, you may return the puppy within 72 hours for a replacement of an equivalent puppy.

 

9, What is the life expectancy of a teacup puppy?

Teacup/miniature dogs would generally have the same life expectancy as all small breed dogs.

 

10, Tell us about your breeders and puppy’s living environment prior to adoption?

11, Does TeddyPups Dubai provide health guarantees?

Yes, we offer a fair health guarantee which comes with every puppy, plus a verified health certificate. We ensure each puppy receives a full check-up by a registered vet, as well as vaccinations, worming treatment and an ISO compliant microchip, before it is adopted. 12, Why are teacup puppies so expensive?

A real teacup dog is developed by natural downsizing through many generations, it is not a runt of a litter. If you are looking for a cheap teacup puppy, you may be setting yourself up to get scammed.

A cheap teacup puppy can grow up to 3 times the size you originally wanted, or it can be the most expensive puppy you will ever buy! Whilst many teacup puppy sellers don't guarantee their puppies, that rings the bell, real tea-cup puppies’ adult size is predictable, an estimation should be very close to reality, because their adult size reflects their parents, grandparents, and so on.  Many teacup dogs on the market are counterfeit, true teacup dog breeders/sellers know their value, their puppies’ estimated adult size & health condition, and don’t sell them cheap”.

For anyone to truly understand why Teacups are so expensive; it is the intense support and care these tiny babies require around the clock so they grow happily in the first couple months of life, they are raised by highly skilled puppy nurses with around the clock care and nurturing, prices reflect the time devoted for their care, the size, the quality and rarity of the breed. It is very hard to find a genuine teacup dog.  A reputable teacup puppy breeder will know each of their puppies as individuals and we will ask you many questions to help you choose the right one, we only select our puppies from reputable breeders that are registered by their states’ canine council. These breeders breed for quality and to maintain excellent teacup lines. They are not in the market just to make money.

Normally, the tinier the puppy, the more it will cost. This is because finding a reputable teacup puppy breeder is very difficult. It is very time-consuming breeding these tiny babies. It is also very expensive to buy breeding quality dogs which carry the teacup gene. Sometimes these dogs need to be imported from other countries as there are very few true teacup dog lines. This is a very long and expensive process.
